PIGMENT TOKYO is a shop, a museum, an academy, and an art materials lab––all in one stunning place. From the moment of start-up, we oversaw naming, corporate identity, in-facility display design and stationery. The spectrum in the identity celebrates the stunning array of 4,200 pigments made from the world’s highest quality ores and minerals. We selected “Azurite Blue” for the corporation’s foundational hue. The effect is a story that artists from all over the world delight in visiting––an art materials experience that revolutionizes the artist’s relationship with art itself.
